Nzema East Cadet Group  Showcase Skills At 62nd Republic Day Celebration

The Cadet group of Nzema East Municipality in the Western Region took part in the 62nd Republic Day Celebration at the Independence Square in Accra on July 1, 2022.

The Cadet group of Nzema East Municipality in the Western Region took part in the 62nd Republic Day Celebration at the Independence Square in Accra on July 1, 2022.
The Municipal Chief Executive of the Municipal Assembly, Honourable Elizabeth Dorcas Amoah, who has special interest in the Cadet group did all she could to get them to Accra. for the program. She is so thankful her Nzema East Municipal was represented. 
The purpose for the celebration is to rekindle the spirit of Volunteerism in the Youth.
In attendance were other schools cadet groups from the 16 Regions of Ghana which comes from the various Districts and municipalities.
The MCE is so grateful to the Headmaster of Nsien SHS for offering a bus, Headmistress of COVOTECH in Axim, Youth Authority of Nzema East and the Cadet corp for their support to get the group prepare and participate in the National Day Event . 
The Cadet group was formed in 2017 and this is the first time they have received support from the Municipal Assembly and the group is very grateful to the MCE.
The Nzema East  Municipality was represented by the by students of the Community Development Technical Institute in Axim. 
The Cadet Contingent was under the Command of Desmond Kaku Sarbah with support from Master -in-charge of Cadet, Mr Henry Asiamah.
The Cadet was under the training of Captain Lieutenant Vincent Appiah, CDT. Sergeant Kenny Anosie, Cdt. S. F. Blessed Mensah and Cdt. Cop Francisca Baako.
